Some time ago, typing was considered one of the skills that every young woman should know, and people have learned to type at the machine-gun precision. Other closed as housewives and mothers, which require very little knowledge about typing at all. Two problems occur: the time has begun to change, young women no longer in positions of secretaries and clerical employees and do not require typing skills, or their parents knew little about the typing and sees no need to encourage training. It is the other end of the spectrum between the sexes, where men are the breadwinners of their families or sports enthusiasts, and learning style was not even something to consider.
Where does that leave us today? With a huge group of people, men and women, all of which are large and have no typing skills at all. This can be a great disadvantage in a world filled with computers, where keyboards and mice are the norm, not the exception. Of course, many people hammer words on the computer screen, make a bad habit of looking for the key, hitting it with a finger and squinting on the screen to see if they did the right thing. Others have progressed, more skilled on the verge of hitting or perhaps even working up the use of four fingers.
But hey, why not learn typing? It only makes sense to invest a little time to learn to type with two hands and ten fingers, given that keyboards are here to stay and will continue to increase in use (which is until the voice recognition is becoming the norm). If you can not beat them, join them, right?
Learn typing is very, very easy and does not take long with a little practice. The key to putting fingers in the right position to strike, then memorize the position of the buttons. Unless you have failing memory, it should be a breeze. You can start with two keys and add others as the mastermind of the catch from where the first two keys. Fairly simple, right?
In addition, the type of learning is as easy as playing a game. You can either purchase software or find a resource on the Internet (ask your kids to help you in the right kind of word search!) Who will do the learning in a kind of computer game. Some have you draw the letters as they come to you, others you try to type short words to earn points. How long you learn and how you type only depends on how much you practice, but the good thing is that once you understand all this, you do not have to keep updating your skills, you will not forget how to type, and can not be better.
To know where you are now, as far as typing skills, try typing test on www.Free-typing-test.com. Have fun with it. Try it with two fingers (or any way you type now), and then try to put their fingers in the right position. You'll get different scores, of course, but now the challenge is to beat your two fingers using scores ten fingers!
