7.2Mbps ExpressCards by Sony Ericsson

The EC400 and EC400g are the first HSPA 7.2/2.0 devices launched by Sony Ericsson and it will work with products that have the ExpressCard factor. Whilst many people are now on the move constantly they have decided to come up with this so that you can have internet access wherever you go.

By sliding the EC400 or EC400g into the ExpressCard slot you will be able to download up to 7.2 Mbps and upload in around 2.0 Mbps. The EC400g has a built in GPS receiver which will automatically show up you location on Google Maps or a similar service.

These devices should be available world wide in the middle of 2008.
