Yates (management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology) looks at how companies in the information-intensive and the insurance industry adopted the technology used, technology tables that immediately preceded the computers in the era of computers, and through the 1970s. It focuses on how technology and its use by businesses form mutually each other through the interaction with time, and how the use of computer technology to pre-form of the company adoption and use of computer technology.
